Saturday Family Fun Day - impromptu sledding in the park, in 50 degree springlike weather. Drove into the city to see Jon's new office space, JUICY PORK BUNS in Chinatown for dinner. Home by bath time. A good day. Then Jon left again for LA. A bad day. We miss you Dada. A lot.

intrepid!

Jackson and Cade loved the Intrepid - we went on Saturday with Papi. The first time we went to the Intrepid we were talking about how much Papi would love it, so Jackson was so excited to get to take him there. Unfortunately there were gale force winds so things got a little windy, and they got a little whiny, but overall they were both pretty good. My favorite was the Lego Intrepid - a 22-foot-long, 550 pound model USS Intrepid built out of 250,000 LEGO® bricks. 

father and son adventure

A few weeks ago, Jon took Jackson to the Empire State Building. They went early on a Sunday and were psyched to find no lines and they went right up to the top. Jackson loved it. I'm so glad they went. I always feel like we don't take advantage of living in the city, and I know there are lots of New Yorkers who have never been to the top. I'm glad Jackson will have that memory of his special trip with Dada.
