for the record...

This has been the snowiest winter of your lives. Quite possibly mine too. Here.

Very ready for spring to arrive.

snow pic

Cade is very opinionated about the weather. He does like snow. He does not like rain. He does not like wind. He does not like sleet, especially when it feels like needles hitting you in the face. Learned that the hard way a few weeks ago when we had to pick up Jackson the day Nemo hit. But the next day, and the next day (above) were so much fun. I love this picture of Cade standing on the slippery table. So safe. Yet so cute.

snowpocolypse 2010

The day after Christmas we got hit with 20 inches of snow. We'd JUST made it back to Brooklyn from Connecticut. When we woke up the next morning (the day we were supposed to go to Florida out of LaGuardia) our street looked like this:

Our back sliding glass door "had it's own mountain that we can slide down" according to Jackson:

And Jon tried to dig the car out:

We got all bundled up and played outside. For 7 minutes. Need new mittens.

We finally got to Florida three days later. There were still cots in the airport from where people had been stranded.

Next up, what we did for three days cooped up inside (it was kind of fun). (The first day really).
