Well, he did it - all smiles, no tears, came out grinning and ran to tell me he had made not one, but two, friends. Me, on the other hand, sad to see my little baby going to school, sad to think he's five years old already, sad to think of time passing.....and would you believe, I went into a store after I dropped him off and what was playing? You know, the one with the lyrics:
'Cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Even children get older and I'm getting older too
Good job, Jackson - I'm so proud of you!

Fantastic photos of Jackson and his great class.
It was such an emotional time for grandparents too.
It brings back memories of Nikki and Jon's first days.
