Dear Jackson,

I am so sorry that I sewed the wrong kind of moon patch on your pants last night. Your big blue eyes were so sad when you came to me this morning and showed me.  Because I love you so much, I will take the full-moon-patch off the left leg and replace it with a crescent-moon like the right leg has.

Just when I finally got you to stop wearing 'comfy' pants everyday. 

Maybe it's because you sleep under this Ikea nightlight every night:
 

I will have to write you a proper apology on this card:

And get you this shirt to go with your newly-patched pants.
