Last week Cade was sick. He wrapped his Lemur up in a blanket and put him in the pot I had given him to throw up in.

I just took Cade to the doctor's office (pink-eye, drats!). On the way out, we got a (sugar-free) lollipop. Cade, who rarely gets candy, didn't quite know what to do with it. He asked me to open it, then held it in his hand for about 10 minutes. Finally he turned around and announced, "Mama, I'm going to eat it now."

As you can see, Cade is feeling better.

The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

Today took Cade to the doctor to find out he has an ear infection, broke two glasses, set off the fire alarm, burned lunch, got no sleep (not that that's anything new)....you know. That kind of day.

Then I watched this and felt a little better:


And now that Cade is taking medicine, hopefully he will be back to himself soon.

Sick. 103 fever last night. Dr. this morning. Virus that has to run its course. He's never been sick like this before, little tough guy. Not his happy smiling troublesome self (see picture above). Hope he's better soon.
