chalkboard wallpaper drawing
In June, Barbara asked me to draw "wallpaper" on chalkboard walls of a bathroom she designed for Country Living Magazine's House of the Year. I was inspired by scenic/chinoiserie wallpaper, although it didn't really turn out like that.
One Saturday afternoon, while Jon played with the boys, I went into the city and drew for 7 hours straight.
I think it turned out nice.

spotted

It's Cade - on the Martha Stewart Crafts website. The onesie that he is sporting, by Maptotes, are in the running to be a part of the MS Holiday Craft Sale. (I voted for her, by the way. You should too. Vote by clicking here.)
He already looks so different to me. That was 10 months ago. Seems like ages. He's so cute.

HONEST + MUPPETS

Dada did a website for the Muppets, Jackson! That means--- Kermit the Frog!
The Muppets??? Yes, The Muppets!!
We are very pleased to announce the launch of a fun new project we just completed for Disney. Working with agency Vanksen and director Michael Sugarman, we got the opportunity to build a personalized website for The Muppets - and then helped them COMPLETELY DESTROY IT! We don't want to say too much more, since that would ruin the surprise, but click on the link below to see what HONEST, Kermit, Miss Piggy, Animal, Gonzo, Fozzie Bear, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, and Beaker have been up to -- and how you can join in.
Entering your name on this first screen is a key ingredient to the whole experience.

And here is a screen shot of Jackson's big appearance in the film:

PS. If you search the movie out, or watch the trailer, keep in mind it is a little graphic and not for everyone.

Sooo, Ruth registered at Giggle, and while we were clicking around on the site the other day, I saw this. Guess who. It's Jackson, in the bathtub, with SkipHop's new bath toy holder.

beautiful

Remember when Kate came over in October and we made those delicious caramel apples? Well, here are some of the beautiful shots she took that day. I love quality of the light. And your expression in the third picture. And don't those apples look good enough to eat right now?
