co-op school t-shirts

As part of attending the Co-op School, parents are required to serve on committees and help with different aspects of the school. 

I'm on the Fundraising Committee, my task was to design some t-shirts to sell. The classes in the school are Grasshoppers, Butterflies, Ladybugs, Fireflies, Bumblebees and Caterpillars. I made a shirt where the kids could check of the box of the class they are in. (Jackson is a Butterfly, Cade will be a Ladybug next year). Well, really, I thought of it and Jon did all the hard work, because he is an amazing designer and can do things in 10 minutes to my 10 hours. Except when I do it all wrong and he has to go back and fix it all, then it takes him longer than 10 minutes. 

I just got my hands on one of of the shirts and took some pictures of Jackson and Cade wearing it. Then Jon designed this great flyer to sell the t-shirts. 

I hope they sell!

I'm really pleased at the way Cade's announcement turned out. I did the illustrative border back in grad school, and Jon designed the card.

Pool-colored envelopes from Paper Source and matching King and Queen stamps complete the look. Not that anyone notices those things, but they matter to me!

Made the invite's for Ruth's shower last week. Jackson wanted to help address the envelopes.

Jackson, if you want to get me a present for Christmas, you can get me this teapot by designer Jason Miller. But not for real. I just like it. I wish it was 1/2 the $. And lately, I haven't been having much tea. I do love the design though.

Jon designed an awesome Christmas card and we finally got it off to be printed tonight. Cross one thing off the list.

Thank you, Jon, for your infinite patience, and for your talent and skills with that program we used to make it. I'm always amazed anew every time I watch you work. I'm sorry I kept asking for your help at 10 o'clock at night.
