savoring home-made english muffins, toasted with butter, from Abigail, sipping alpine-berry two leaves and a bud cup of tea from Bess, thumbing through Printing By Hand, from Abigail, while Jackson reads Around Town on the floor next to me by the couch.

I think this picture just about sums up all of our feelings on Tuesday night when we watched Obama win the presidency.






Jackson, you were 17 months old when Obama was elected the 44th president, in an historic presidential election. The entire world, not just America, is hopeful. I'm full of joy, relief, and today - proud to be an American!
